Joshua has transitioned to the role of Investment Associate after a 3-month internship program here at White Oak Capital. He has accumulated close to a year of equities internship experience in GIC and Seatown Holdings, covering the financials, technology and materials sectors in global emerging markets. He also has some experience in private banking and venture debt in various companies in Singapore.

Joshua has obtained his Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) with a major in Finance from Singapore Management University.

Bibek has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining White Oak Capital, he was co-head of sales and distribution at Goldman Sachs Asset Management India responsible for Institutional clients and Private banks. He started his career with Benchmark Asset Management, pioneers in quantitative and passive asset management.

Bibek holds a Law degree from Symbiosis Law College, Pune.

George has transitioned from our internship program here at White Oak Capital after 3 months. He has covered Asia equities during his previous internships in long-only mutual funds and long-short hedge funds prior to joining the firm.

George has obtained his dual BSc in Chemistry & Business Administration from Tsinghua University, and his MSc in Finance from National University of Singapore.

Yu Heng has transitioned from our internship program here at White Oak Capital after 4 months and has covered companies in the Industrials and Auto sectors at his previous internships in Long-Only funds prior to joining the firm.

Yu Heng has obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy from Singapore Management University.

Cassandra has about 4 years of working experience in the financial services industry where she focused on Financial Crime Compliance for financial institutions such as OCBC, and AIA Singapore. Prior to moving to compliance, she was an Audit Associate at Deloitte & Touche LLP under Audit and Assurance – Global Financial Services Industry.

Cassandra has obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Accounting) from Monash University.

Will has over 3 years working experience as both an auditor in EY Singapore & management accountant in Rhodium Resources Group prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners Pte. Ltd.

Will is a CPA Australia associate and has obtained his Masters in Professional Accounting from Monash University.

Yan Yang has experience working in the Financial Services sector for 5 years where he handled mainly on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism for banks such as OCBC, HSBC and payment firm.

Yan Yang is a CAMS certified and has obtained his Degree in Business Management from Singapore Institute of Management, University Of London.

Joey has 1 year of working experience in the hedge fund industry. Before joining White Oak Capital Partners Pte. Ltd., she was the Fund accountant at SS&C fund services. Her responsibilities include the preparation of Net Asset Valuation calculations, monthly reconciliation and assisting in audit requests.

Joey has obtained her Bachelor in Accountancy from Singapore Management University.

Ayush is an Investment Director at White Oak Capital and focuses on Technology, Internet, and Consumer Discretionary sectors. Prior to joining White Oak in 2017, he was an Investment Analyst at Avendus Capital in Indian public equities. Before starting a career in Investment Management, he worked with Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank in macro structuring and trading in Mumbai. He also had a summer stint with UBS Investment Bank in Singapore.

Ayush holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from IIT Delhi and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Nori joins from Tokio Marine Asset Management where he was an investment analyst with expertise on Information Technology sector across Asia. Prior to that, he was also involved in long/short strategy of the US/Asia investment and different sell-side roles in Hong Kong/Taiwan. He joined the investment industry since 2011.

Nori is a Chartered Financial Analyst and earned a Master’s degree in Money & Banking from National Chengchi University.

Arthur joins from Eastspring Investments where he was an Asian equity analyst responsible for generating ideas and researching industries across the region. Prior to that, Arthur was a global equity analyst at Orbis Investments in London.

Arthur is a Chartered Financial Analyst and obtained his MA in Modern History from University of Oxford.

Wen Loong has joined from Maitri Asset Management and prior to his years there, he spent 7 years in London with M&G Investments working on the Emerging Markets team.

Wen Loong is a graduate of the University of Warwick where he read Philosophy, Politics & Economics. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Pearlina has 5 years of working experience as a HR Generalist. Prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners, she was responsible for the overall HR functions such as HR administration, payroll, talent requisition and assisting in all HR related projects.

Pearlina has obtained her Diploma in HR Leadership with Business Partnering from Singapore Human Resource Institute.

Sanjay has over 30 years of experience in the asset management, equity trading and brokerage industry. Prior to joining White Oak Capital, he was Director & Head of Equity Sales Trading at Religare Capital. Before that, he was Executive Director – Fundamental Equity Trading at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), responsible for trading for GS India equity fund. Before joining GSAM, he was Co- Head Equities at SBICAP Securities. Prior to that he was responsible for trading at HSBC Asset Management and SBI Mutual Fund, which are amongst the largest India Funds. Sanjay began his career with Unit Trust of India, working in various capacities for 15 years.

Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from Delhi University and an MBA in Finance from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banker (CAIIB). He has also qualified the Capital Market and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) – Module 3 ( Rules and Regulations for Fund Management) Exam conducted by Institute of Banking and Finance in Singapore.

Manoj has a strong track record in equity research in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors over the last 11 years working as a lead analyst at leading brokerage houses in India. Most recently, he was with Merrill Lynch, where he was highly rated by both external and internal clients, receiving the highest number of votes from clients who rated the performance of Merrill Lynch analysts between 2015 and 2017. He ranked #1/#2 in the All Asia Institutional Survey 2015/2016 in the Healthcare category.

He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry working with companies like Cipla and Ipca over a 10-year period. He graduated as a gold medallist from Nagpur University with an MBA in Finance.

Francis has accumulated over 15 years of experience in operations, finance, legal, compliance and risk in the Asset Management space.
Prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners Pte. Ltd., Francis was the Head of Operations and Risk Management Manager at SRE Capital. He was responsible for the overall operational framework of the Company and the funds including but not limited to trades processing and settlement, valuations, risk management, compliance, finance and investor relations. Before joining SRE Capital, he was the Operations Manager at APN Funds Management. He was previously a senior accountant with HSBC Institutional Trust Services and an auditor at KPMG..

Francis holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a Financial Industry Competence Standards (FICS) Diploma on Operational Risk Management at Risk Management Institute from NUS. He has also gained the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification and he is currently a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA).

Clarissa has 5 years of working experience in fund operation industry. Prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners Pte. Ltd., Clarissa worked with a well-known global finance service provider covering several funds with complex structures, she is also responsible for regulatory reporting, due diligence, client servicing and fund accounting. Clarissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance at University of Melbourne. She is now finalising her ACCA & CAIA.

Ly En had 4 years working experience as an auditor in EY Singapore prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners Pte. Ltd. She is responsible for the regulatory audit and financial reporting of clients from the real estate, hospitality and construction industries. Ly En obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy from Singapore Management University and she is currently a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (“CA”).

Loy has about 5 years of working experience in the fund management space where he mainly focused on compliance. Prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners, Loy was acting as Vice President, Compliance and Risk Management at a Chinese state-owned company where he was responsible for the overall compliance and risk management of two Capital Markets Services (CMS) licensed entities dealing in capital markets products (securities), corporate finance and fund management. He had also worked at 2 independent boutique fund management companies prior to that.

Loy holds a Bachelor of Science (Second Upper Honours) in Business and Management from University of London. He has also qualified the Capital Market and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) – Module 3 (Rules and Regulations for Fund Management) Exam conducted by Institute of Banking and Finance in Singapore.

Kek Jun Xian has 1 year of working experience in the hedge fund industry. Before joining White Oak Capital Partners Pte. Ltd., he was the Fund accountant at SS&C fund services. His responsibilities include but not limited to preparation of Net Asset Valuation calculations, financial statements, monthly reconciliation and client services.

Prior his fund accounting experience, he has a year of experience as an auditor at Nexia TS. Kek Jun Xian has completed his Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from Singapore Institute of Management.

Vivian has 3 years of working experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners, Vivian was a Fund Accountant at Bank of New York Mellon, dealing with mutual funds not limiting to computation of funds’ net assets value. She was also involved in auditing, reporting, and assisting in various projects. Her first job after graduation was a finance officer at Maybank Kim Eng Securities.

Vivian has obtained Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) in RMIT University.

Jaslin has 6 years of working experience in the financial industry, including 5 years working as a compliance officer. Prior to joining White Oak Capital Partners, Jaslin was an investment compliance officer at Nomura Asset Management, focusing on Compliance monitoring and Employee personal dealings. She was also involved in reporting, compliance user training, and assisting in implementation of projects. She had also worked at Eastspring Investment and AIA Investment Management. Her first job was seated with the client onboarding team at UOB Bank.

Jaslin has obtained Bachelor of Business studies (Honours) in Finance from University of Dublin.

Krishna Sathyamoorthi has an experience of over 3 years at EY Assurance in the Financial Services sector where he handled due diligence and analytical procedures and another 6 months as a Management Trainee (Investments) at Saravana Stocks Private Limited where he was responsible for generating and researching investment ideas.

Krishna is a qualified Chartered Accountant (India) and has obtained his Masters in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University.
